Description
Separate 12V battery of 110 amps, very suitable for use with an electric outboard motor. This battery can be connected to different brands of electric motors, such as Outwave, Intex or Sevylor. Already have a complete sailing kit? Then this separate battery is useful to be able to sail longer than the specified sailing time or to have it on hand as a spare.
General
The battery is an AGM deep cycle dry battery, suitable for deep discharge. So you can keep sailing until the battery is mostly empty. However, it is advisable not to continue sailing until it is completely empty, as this may damage the battery. As a rule of thumb, when the electric motor slows down, it is time to go ashore or plug in a new battery.
The battery can in principle be placed separately in the boat. They are dry batteries, so lead acid cannot leak from them. For the life of the battery, however, it is advisable to put it in, for example, a bag, box or toolbox.
